SAGE3 BETA Release Announced at SC22

NOVEMBER 14-17, 2022 — SAGE3™ Team members announced the release of the SAGE3 beta version at the IEEE/ACM Supercomputing 2022 (SC22) conference, held at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center in Dallas, Texas, USA, November 14-18, 2022. Team members from University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa’s (UHM) Laboratory for Advanced Visualization & Applications, University of Illinois Chicago’s (UIC) Electronic Visualization Laboratory, and Virginia Polytech University’s (VT) Sanghani Center for AI and Data Analytics were involved in several tech transfer activities, notably research demonstrations in the SC22 Exhibition hall and a Birds of a Feather (BOF) meeting. And, we were joined by our close partner institution, Japan’s National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST).

SAGE3 BOF

The “SAGE 12th SC BOF: Smart Amplified Group Environment Enhanced with Artificial Intelligence for Global Collaboration” was held Tuesday, November 15, 2022. The BOF provided a forum for SAGE3 developers to meet with SAGE’s large international user community and with potential new users, introducing them to the newly announced SAGE3 Beta Release and soliciting feedback on current and planned features.
